Effective July 5, 2026 · Last reviewed July 5, 2026

This page explains, in plain English, what information Davis Digital Studio collects and how it’s used. The short version: I collect only what’s needed to respond to you and do the work, I never sell it, and you can ask me about any of it directly.

What I collect

When you contact me or use a free tool — your name, email, and whatever you choose to share, such as your website address or details about your business. Contact form submissions are delivered through Formspree.

When you become a client — the information needed to run your project: your contact details, project brief, messages, files you upload, invoices, and approvals, all kept inside the private client portal. The portal has its own Portal Terms covering data ownership, backups, and offboarding.

Automatically — standard technical logs (like IP address and browser type) that hosting providers record to keep the site running and secure.

How it’s used

To reply to you, deliver the service you asked for, run your project, send invoices and project updates, and improve the site. Nothing else. I don’t sell personal information, and I don’t share it except with the service providers below, as needed to deliver what you asked for.

Services that help run this site

Like most modern studios, I rely on a small set of established providers, each receiving only what it needs to do its job: Supabase (secure database and file storage for the client portal), Netlify (website hosting), Formspree (contact form delivery), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Calendly (call scheduling), and Anthropic (the AI behind the free review tools and the portal assistant — see the AI disclaimer for exactly what’s sent and what isn’t).

A note on payments: card details go directly to Stripe over their secure checkout. They never touch this site’s servers, and I never see your card number.

Cookies & analytics

Some pages on the public site use Google Analytics to understand which pages help visitors most; Google sets cookies to make that work. The private client portal contains no third-party analytics at all — what you do in your portal isn’t tracked by anyone.

How long I keep things

Inquiries and free-tool submissions are kept as long as they’re useful for responding to you, then cleared out periodically. Client project records are kept for the life of our work together and a reasonable period afterward for records, taxes, and any follow-up you ask for. When a client relationship ends, portal offboarding and deletion are handled as described in the Portal Terms.

Your choices

You can ask what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it — email eric@davisdigitalstudio.com and I’ll handle it personally and promptly. I honor reasonable requests without making you jump through hoops.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it, and significant changes will be called out rather than slipped in quietly.

Contact

Questions about your data? Email eric@davisdigitalstudio.com or use the contact page — you’ll get an answer from me, not a form letter. This policy is written in plain English on purpose; if anything is unclear, ask.
