Hettie Orange Designs
Two decades of design, publishing, and print work, and no real website to show it. I built her one from scratch. Here is what I built, in what order, and why.

THE PROJECT
A site built around her actual work.
01 · THE SITUATION
Hettie had two decades of design, publishing, and print work behind her, but no real website. All she had was an unfinished template still full of demo content, with her name misspelled as “Hetti Orange” in the browser tab.
02 · WHAT I BUILT FIRST
The pages that matter most to a new client: a homepage that says what she does and who it’s for, her work front and center, and a clear way to reach her.
03 · THE HONEST CALL
She didn't need another content system to maintain. A focused site she rarely has to touch served her better than a platform she'd have to learn.
04 · WHAT SHE HAS NOW
A brand new site built around her actual work, her name spelled right everywhere, and a clear path for the clients she wants to reach.
